Meet Vicky Green, Senior Director, MSABC & National Initiatives
Vicky Green has been with the American Cancer Society for more than 16 years. She is currently the Senior Director, MSABC & National Initiatives.
She is inspired by the passion and power of millions of volunteers. Vicky is excited to lead Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, which is a celebration of courage and hope, a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Wherever you are on your breast cancer journey, there is a place for you in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement. We are the movement, We are the hope and we are the future!

Lisa Beck, National Making Strides Volunteer Lead
I recently retired from General Motors (Nov 1 2023) after 35 years. Most recently I served as CFO-Global Product Development – Trucks & SUVs. 16 years ago, a co-worker asked me to join/co-lead the GM Women in Finance team and attend the Detroit MSABC Walk. I was so incredibly inspired by the event, the survivors and hope in air that I decided that day I would stay involved. It has been so rewarding to grow the team/walkers, spread awareness and fundraise for such an important cause.
Over the years, several of my family members and friends have battled or are still battling this disease, so this is important to me, and I hope our efforts lead to a cure. I fight for my two daughters, my sister, and all women (and men) in our lives. I look forward to staying involved with ACS and fundraising post-retirement with the GM Women in Finance team, we have raised over $800,000 since we started!
